The Deaconess are responsible for assisting in the preparation of candidates for Baptism and in The Lord's Supper. Additionally, they visit the sick and shut-in, assist with the serving the food to bereaved families, and offer support as needed.

The deacons participate in the ordinances of the church, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper. They are responsible for assisting in the preparation of candidates for Baptism and the preparation of the Lord's Supper. The deacons support the pastor by maintaining contact with all the assigned members and visiting the sick, the shut-in, and the bereaved. The deacons support the pastor in conducting the affairs of the church.

 

 Food Pantry

Provides food to needy individuals in the community. Operates Mondays and Wednesdays form 9:00am-11:00 am. To make a donation or for further information, please contact the church office.

The purpose of Sunday School is to teach, train and develop Christian character and true discipleship, to grow in grace as we deal with bible truths, studying will keep us in vital contact with our Heavenly Father who promise to conform us to the image of His Son Jesus. A daily life style of holiness as the Holy Spirit transform us through the word of God.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, Amen." Matthew 28:19-20

They will not seek-they must be brought.

The Mount Olive Baptist Church Transportation Ministry is an outreach ministry designed to provide transportation service to members of the church and the broader community to and from Christ-centered activities.

Trustees              

The purpose of the Trustees of the church is to assist the pastor with the financial, current and future property

needs of the church, and the maintenance of all buildings owned by the church;which entails establishing a timetable for paintng, shampooing carpets, up-keeping the floors, maintenance of heating and air conditioning units of the church buildings, and the replacement of instruments and appliances. The Church has its confidence in a group of its members and has given them the duty of caring for the physical plant and possessions

The Usher's Ministry is designed to serve God's people by graciously greeting, directing, seating, and assisting them in a friendly and hospitable manner as they enter the sanctuary. They prepare and assist during the offertory period and distribute programs for worship.
